Meet Our Team
Bruce Justus
Bruce Justus is a senior engineering leader with more than 30 years of experience in electromagnetic interference (EMI) and environmental testing for military and commercial systems. As a Partner and Lead Technical Engineer at Engineered Testing Systems, he provides technical direction for EMI and environmental qualification programs, overseeing workload planning, scheduling, personnel coordination, and project execution.
He specializes in system compliance with MIL-STD-461/462 and MIL-STD-810 standards and brings extensive expertise in EMI control, RF instrumentation, and high-power test systems. As a trusted technical consultant, Bruce works closely with engineering teams to reduce emissions, improve system resilience, and ensure reliable performance in demanding electromagnetic environments.
Prior to joining ETS, he served as Technical Lead at Raytheon Technical Services Company and as a Senior Staff Engineer at the Naval Air Warfare Center. In these roles, he led major military qualification efforts and developed comprehensive test documentation, including plans, reports, specifications, and cost proposals. His early career focused on vibration, shock, and telemetry systems for flight and environmental testing.
A Certified Electromagnetic Compatibility Engineer through NARTE since 1991, Bruce has received multiple commendations for outstanding performance. He holds a Secret security clearance and remains dedicated to delivering precise, standards-based testing and practical engineering solutions.
Steve Golten
Steve Golton is a seasoned test engineering and operations leader with decades of experience supporting environmental qualification and production testing for military and commercial systems. He plays a key role in the daily operations and long-term success of Engineered Testing Systems, combining technical leadership with strong business management.
As the company’s Principal Test Engineer, Steve directs all physical testing activities, including workload development, scheduling, personnel coordination, and project oversight. He is responsible for developing detailed test plans, reports, cost proposals, statements of work, and system specifications that support accurate and compliant system qualification.
In addition to his technical responsibilities, Steve oversees all non-technical business functions, including contract administration, accounting, payroll, billing, banking, and marketing. His balanced and detail-oriented approach ensures efficient operations, financial stability, and strong customer relationships.
Steve brings extensive knowledge of MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-202, and MIL-PRF-28800 standards, along with hands-on expertise in electronic control systems, refrigeration systems, and test facility maintenance. Proficient in LabVIEW, DASYLab, and industrial control systems, he supports the company’s continued growth and technical capabilities. He holds an active security clearance and is committed to delivering dependable, high-quality testing services.
Tyler Hart
Tyler Hart is an experienced Test Engineer and Quality Manager with more than 20 years of experience supporting high-reliability testing and compliance programs at Engineered Testing Systems. Since joining the company in 2004, he has played a vital role in maintaining technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and customer confidence.
As Quality Manager, Tyler oversees all aspects of the ISO/IEC 17025 quality management system, including the successful transition from the 2005 to the 2017 standard. His responsibilities include conducting internal audits, coordinating external assessments, managing corrective actions, maintaining calibration and training records, and leading management review meetings. He also develops and reviews laboratory procedures, performs risk assessments, and facilitates inter-laboratory comparisons.
In his role as Test Engineer, Tyler manages mechanical and environmental testing programs from initial quotation through final reporting. He works closely with customers to design test fixtures, implement effective data collection methods, and present results in clear, actionable formats. His testing expertise includes vibration, shock, temperature and humidity, salt spray, dust, chemical exposure, IP, acceleration, and electrical testing.
With strong skills in quality assurance, project management, and data analysis Tyler is dedicated to delivering accurate, reliable, and fully compliant testing services.
